Global Commitment
Our vision for a circular economy in which plastic never becomes waste. Partly the reason why we have signed the 'Plastics Pact' and 'Nationaal Platform Plastic Recycling'. A global commitment launched by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment in 2019. Its members include numerous grocery chains, brand owners, packaging manufacturers, plastic recyclers and environmental organisations. We commit ourselves to three actions to realize our vision:
- We want to eliminate all problematic and unnecessary plastics;
- We strive to make all our packaging 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable;
- We use recycled and renewable materials as much as possible.
Sustainable Development Goals
There have been drawn up 17 sustainable development to make the world a better place. We support all these goals, but our work mainly contributes to development goals 12, 13, 14 and 17.
